Background
Daniil Yurchenko gained his PhD in structural mechanics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts, US in 2001. He has since developed his research interests in applied mechanics and its applications to marine and wind renewable energy technology, covering such areas as structural and nonlinear dynamics, stochastic and optimal control, computational and probabilistic mechanics, reliability analysis.
